IOSH Managing Safety for Exhibitions & Events
This is a specially adapted version of the IOSH Managing Safely course for people working in the Exhibitions & Events Industry. The IOSH Managing Safely in the Exhibition and Event Industry training course is designed to reflect the requirements set for managers and supervisors upon whom the responsibilities fall for operational safety.

On conclusion of the course delegates will have improved knowledge and understanding of health and safety management, and will be able to manage their organisational health and safety issues in a more proactive and practical way.
As part of the onsite course we can offer a quick overview of the Event Safety Plan software tools and some training on how to create and manage effective safety plans. For delegates on the offsite course we can offer an online tutorial following the completion of the course.
Assessment: The program includes overnight project work and concludes with a multi-choice examination. Delegates are required to complete a workplace-based project, which forms part of the overall assessment and must be returned within 14 days. A minimum pass rate of 70% is required for certification.
Qualification: An IOSH Managing Safely in Exhibitions and Events certificate is awarded to all those who attend the course and successfully complete the written and practical assessments.
Duration & Location: This is a 3 day course that can either be delivered at your premises for up to 12 people or you can book a place at an open course held regularly at locations around the UK.
