Recruitment – London Based Event Health and Safety Advisor

We are looking for a proactive enthusiastic London Based Event Health and Safety Advisor to work with us developing further opportunities within the event safety and production sectors, and support our existing Event Safety Plan clients.

Location: Based predominantly in London, with easy access in and out of the city. Opportunity for other extensive UK and international travel.

Role: Permanent, full time, remote working 

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Your working hours will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications (for safety roles) – Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or NCRQ equivalent.

We’re looking for established, confident Safety Advisors who can:

  • Advise clients on their legal duties and help them implement effective health & safety management processes & systems.
  • Carry out evaluations and audits of clients’ health & safety management systems.
  • Demonstrate our software via remote screen-share or in person.
  • Develop and deliver training courses.
  • Write and audit event management plans, construction phase plans, RAMS & other safety documentation.
  • Carry out contractor competency checks.
  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within the events or entertainment industries.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to tailor a message and communicate to a range of stakeholders.
  • Possess drive and enthusiasm with the willingness to learn, develop and grow in the role.
  • Advise on fire safety & crowd management for events.
  • Support event projects in an on-site safety advisor role.

Experience working with event, theatrical or festival clients essential.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of event experience
  • Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or NCRQ equivalent
  • Technical member of IOSH or willingness to join IOSH
  • Full UK driving licence 
  • Able to travel within the UK and also internationally
  • Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Google Workspace

Advantageous: 

  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
  • Grad IOSH or working towards CMIOSH
  • Other Health & Safety related qualifications
